Bora Bora

We arrived in Bora Bora while the Heiva Festival was going on and got to watch some singing and dancing

The festival was over a mile from our boat so we took the dinghy to a nearby dock and a cousin of a friend of Noelles (who is a local police officer) gave us a ride to the festival in her car. The festival was not over until 10 PM which is when her night shift started so she gave us a ride back locked in back of the police van.

We had a real calm day so we went snorkeling on the outside of the reef. The snorkeling was not that great but did get a nice selfie with Bora Bora’s iconic mountain in the background

Did some snorkeling on the inside of the lagoon. Surprisingly better than the outside. Lots of Convict Surgeonfish
